1. Overview
Calcqivo provides free construction and DIY estimating tools. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information You Provide
When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you voluntarily provide. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not displayed publicly.
Calculator inputs (fence dimensions, material types, quantities) are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers unless you explicitly save or share a result.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
Calcqivo uses browser local storage to remember your calculator preferences (such as selected fence type or post spacing) for convenience. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
If advertising is enabled, third-party advertising partners (such as Google) may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
Calcqivo may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to this website. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. For EEA/UK users, a consent management platform (CMP) may be configured to obtain consent for personalized ads and cookies.
5. Affiliate Links
Calcqivo may participate in affiliate programs, including the Home Depot Affiliate Program. When you click qualifying affiliate links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate links are marked as sponsored in the link attributes. We do not receive access to your purchase history, account information, or payment details through affiliate links. Transactions occur entirely on the retailer's website.
6. Third-Party Retailer Links
Our Shop Materials section may link to third-party retailers (such as Home Depot). These links take you to external websites with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.
7. Pricing and API Infrastructure
Material prices displayed on Calcqivo are retrieved from retailer APIs or market estimates and cached for performance. Price requests are triggered by your calculator interactions and do not contain personal information. We do not store your browsing history or calculator inputs alongside pricing data.
8. Server and Application Logs
Our hosting provider maintains standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps, user agents) for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not associated with your calculator inputs or contact form submissions.
